Filter Press Stand
The shop crew is busy constructing a custom designed stand for an HEI filter press. The Model C-50 -1.25-CGR Filter Press has a 50 cubic feet capacity and is just one component of an entire turnkey industrial wastewater treatment system that HEI is providing for an aerospace company in east Texas.
The stand will be fitted with stairs, bumper protection, and roll-off box guides. When installed, the filter press will be mounted on the stand to elevate it over an 8 foot by 22 foot long roll-off container mounted on steel runners embedded into the concrete floor for convenient waste disposal.
To further assist with clean-up, the filter press is supplied with membrane squeeze plates and a high pressure automatic cloth washing carriage. An automatic plate spreader will also be installed to enable one man to clean the filter press unassisted.
